NO IMPACT MAN is Colin Beavan who went a year without hurting the environment while living in NYC. His story along with his wife's and two year old daughter is the premise of the film, the book and the blog. Garen Daly talked with him. Enjoy the podcast.

MINI FILM REVIEW:
A documentary crew follows Colin Beavan, his wife and 2 year old daughter around for 1 year as they attempt to live without leaving any ecological impact in the world. Problem is they live in Manhattan, in a 9th floor 750 sq.foot apartment.

This straight ahead doc depicts their decisions and struggles of giving up electricity, fridges and toilet paper. The center of the film is not Colin, but his wife. Her skepticism and gameness are the very core that makes this documentary a cut above and allows it not to be a 'preaching to the choir' tree hugger film.

NO IMPACT MAN is enjoyable exploration of modern life, modern couples and, oh yeah, being green
